Swimming

Swimming is a fantastic workout for the whole body, building endurance, muscle strength and fitness. You can swim by yourself, race a friend or join a club to meet new people, improve your technique and compete.

 

But how do I get involved?

Find your local pool or club:

In England – Swim England

In Scotland – Scottish Swimming

In Wales – Swim Wales

In Ireland – Swim Ireland

Or even the best place to go wild swimming for the really adventurous!

Swimming is really good, because if I've injured my ankle or something doing another thing, it might hurt when I move. But when I'm in the pool I can move it because the water makes it feel a lot better.
